If your dog is experiencing behavioural problems a full behavioural consultation will be required in order to establish what is causing the problem, establish management protocols and in order to establish a plan to over come the problem.

Common examples:-

Aggression

Separation Anxiety

Fears and Phobias

Behavioural problems as a result of medical issues

A behavioural consultation will record your dogs full history, detail a description of the problem and then from this a full personalised training plan will be written to help change your dogs emotional response to a particular environment or situation.

No matter what your dogs problem call Kim so you can have a chat about it and ensure that you are receiving the right advice and help for your dog.

As a full member of the APBC the cost of the consultation may be covered by your insurance company.

Canine aggression

Dog aggression is seemingly more common than ever and can make the nicest walks a challenge.

This doesn’t have to be the case.

Aggression is a serious concern for dog owners and might feel overwhelming. I work with you to create a plan which you feel you can implement, there is nothing you won’t be able to achieve.

Initially we would go through all your dogs history, look at videos of your dogs behaviour and begin to implement management and behaviour change protocols.

This is then supported with video analysis and face to face appointments working through and supporting you through the behaviour modification plan.

Separation anxiety

Separation anxiety can make living with a dog that can’t be left a challenge. However there is light at the end of the tunnel.

We can help your dog to feel more secure and comfortable when they are home alone.

With a comprehensive plan with step by step instructions we will encourage your dog to be more independent, more able to relax without you being there and ultimately be able to be home alone.

All separation anxiety work is carried out through a remote consultation alongside lots of videos from you which we can use to track your progress.

Fear and Anxieties

Dogs can develop a range of fear and anxieties, some of these manifest in a range of different ways.

Dogs who are fearful or anxious lead very stressful lives which can lead to other problems, including health problems.

I can support you through this, with a comprehensive behavioural modification plan and regular catch ups we can help your dog to be less fearful.

As a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) my fees may be covered by your insurance company.
